Notis - Smart Shower

The internet is becoming increasingly ubiquitous in everyday household appliances. Artificial intelligence assistants and smart televisions are common products that we find in our homes that are connected to the internet.

Notis is the result of combining a shower tap and the internet. The Notis shower tap can be used with or without its application. The application provides the user with more freedom to adjust the shower according to his of her wishes.

It enables the user to preset the shower conditions and gives the user the ability to track all the shower data, such as average water temperature, total duration of the shower and the amount of water that has been used.
Furthermore, Notis has an internal AI that controls the water temperature. There is an infrared sensor built into the shower tap that measures your body temperature every second, allowing the AI to adjust the water temperature according to your body temperature.

The screen on the Notis shower tap will show the current user, the remaining shower time and the current water temperature.
Notis is characterised by its built-in rack, and asymmetrical and geometric design. Unlike traditional shower taps, that use the shower faucets to adjust the water flow and water temperature,

Notis uses Google’s Soli chip.

Soli is a miniature radar that understands human motions; it uses hand gestures asinput to adjust the water flow and temperature.
Notis uses hand gestures to adjust the water temperature.
This can be done by simply moving your fingers above the Soli sensor, as if you are turning a knob.
